Legal - Website terms

These terms govern use of the Assist IQ website. The site provides general information about our services and is not professional, legal, financial or technical advice for a particular business. Any paid work is governed by a separate written agreement. These draft terms must be reviewed before reliance or production launch.

01

Important review notice.

Draft for legal review before relying on it. These are website-use terms, not a client services agreement. Project scope, fees, intellectual property, data processing, security responsibilities, service levels, liability and termination must be covered in the signed agreement for the relevant engagement.

This website is operated by PCMG Consulting Services Ltd, trading as Assist IQ, company number SC852814. Contact: hello@assistiq.co.uk.

02

Using the site.

You may use the site for lawful business and information purposes. You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access, disrupt the service, introduce malicious code, scrape the site in a way that harms availability, misrepresent an association with Assist IQ or use the content unlawfully.

We may change, suspend or withdraw all or part of the site. We aim to keep the content accurate and available but do not promise uninterrupted access or that every page is complete, current or error-free.

03

Information, AI and decisions.

The site describes general automation approaches. It does not assess your systems, risks, regulatory duties or suitability for a particular tool. Do not make a material operational, legal, safety, employment, financial or security decision solely from website content.

Examples and case studies describe particular contexts. They do not guarantee the same outcome elsewhere. Any testimonial placeholder is expressly marked and is not a customer statement.

04

Intellectual property and links.

Unless stated otherwise, the site content, design, branding and original materials belong to PCMG Consulting Services Ltd or are used under licence. You may view and print reasonable extracts for internal evaluation. You may not reproduce, sell, publish or create a misleading derivative without permission, except where law permits it.

Links to third-party sites are provided for context. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices. A link does not imply endorsement unless we say so.

05

Liability.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

Subject to that, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss arising solely from reliance on general website content; loss caused by events outside reasonable control; or indirect or consequential business loss connected with use or unavailability of the site. Any liability relating to paid services is governed by the applicable written agreement.

06

Privacy, changes and governing law.

Our privacy policy and cookie policy explain how information and browser technologies are handled. We may update these terms by publishing a revised version with a new date.

These draft terms are intended to be governed by Scots law, with the Scottish courts having jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights or rules that apply. This governing-law wording requires review before reliance, especially if services are sold to consumers or outside Scotland.
